We tried out these tours held by students who are deeply interested into the culture and history of Barcelona. They are ususally held in English and Spanish and, shortly, will also be offered in French. Take a look at their website!
They start off from La Plaça de l’Àngel (where there is the metro stop of “Jaume I”) at 11am and 2:00 PM.
The tour of Barcelona gives you a wide idea of the city and it’s background with a lot of sense of humor and totally for free. And after the tour, if you enjoyed, you can pay the tour guide a tip.
Also, if you like to try out tipical meals and dishes, they also offer tasting experiences for a really reasonable price and other tours focused on Gaudí and Modernism.
Take a morning to let yourself go loose with those young students and let them take you around
